Delivery cylinders / Pumping cylinders / Conveying cylinder / Concrete Cylinders

Pumping/Delivery cylinders are among the most critical components of a concrete pump. The bore is hardened to a value of 58 - 62 HRC with a case depth of 1.8 mm to 2.5 mm. The bore is honed to a surface finish of 0.4µ Ra or better. These cylinders are machined on a CNC turning center to ensure good quality.

We have the facilities to manufacture these cylinders of up to 300 mm bore and 3 mts long. Pumping cylinders with different specifications can also be manufactured and supplied. Hard chrome plating of bore is done on request. The standard plating thickness is 30 µm.

Differential Hydraulic Cylinder

Differential Hydraulic Cylinders are designed and manufactured to perform at pressures up to 300 kgs/sq.cm. The bore is fine finished and honed to 0.4 µ Ra or better. The machining is done on CNC turning center. The welding is done using the most modern equipment.

All differential hydraulic cylinders are tested hydraulically at 1.5 times the operating pressure. NDT of weld joints is also a part of processing these components.

Piston Rods

Piston Rods are manufactured using state of the art technology, these components are precision machined on CNC turning center, ground and plated with surface finish of 0.4 µRa or better. The hard chrome plating is done to a minimum thickness of 30 µm. These rods are made of either C45 or EN 19 steel. The straightness is maintained 1 in 1000 mm.

Plunger Housings

Plunger Housing components, which operate the valve, are fabricated and precision machined. The welding of flange and end cover is done on a welding SPM. The bore is hard chrome plated to a thickness of 30 µm. Each plunger housing is tested at 1.5 times the operating pressure to check integrity of the weld joints and leakages if any. The machining is done on CNC turning center. The bore is fine finished by honing to a surface finish of 0.4 µm Ra or better. NDT of weld joints is also a part of processing.
